License Types

AccuRev supports three license types:

•	named -- the traditional, proprietary AccuRev license

•	standard -- a Reprise-based “floating” license that is valid for one week

•	flexible -- a Reprise-based “floating” license that is valid for one day (24 hours)

In addition, the Reprise options give you the choice using or installing a Reprise license server on the local machine, or using an existing Reprise license server on a remote machine.

The Reprise license manager has been implemented so that changes are generally invisible to users, while new functionality provides more flexibility to AccuRev administrators. These features include:

•	support of standard or flexible licenses

•	simpler administration of replica server licenses
