When you have one or more remote agents in your testing network, you enable networking by specifying the network type.
For projects or scripts that use the Classic Agent, if you are not using TCP/IP, you have to assign to each agent the unique name that your scripts use to direct test operations to the associated application. You can use Silk Test Classic to test two applications on the same target from one host machine.
