This functionality is supported only if you are using the Open Agent.
Before you can test with
Apple Safari on a Mac, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
- The Mac is connected as a remote location to a Windows machine, on which
Silk Test Classic is installed. For additional information, see
Editing Remote Locations.
- The SafariDriver, which is the WebDriver extension for
Apple Safari that inverts the traditional client/server relationship and communicates with the WebDriver client using WebSockets, is installed on the Mac.
- Java JDK is installed on the Mac.
- The information service is installed on the Mac. To get the files that are required for the information service, use the
Silk Test installer. For additional information, see
Installing the
Silk Test Information Service on a Mac.
- To run tests on
Apple Safari, the user that has installed the information service needs to be logged in on the Mac.
