You can use the
Record Defined Window dialog box to help
Silk Test Classic recognize a window while you are recording a test case.
Click
Record > Defined Window.
The
Record Defined Window dialog box appears, unless there is an error in the
.inc file of your application under test.
Type a name for the window that you want to define into the
Window Name field.
Click
Draw Rectangle.
Click on a corner of the window that you want to record.
Drag the mouse cursor to the opposite corner of the window.
Silk Test Classic draws a rectangle over the window and displays the coordinates of the window in the
Window Rectangle field. The coordinates are displayed in relation to the main window of the application under test.
Click
Accept.
Click OK to verify that the new window is saved to the correct file.
The newly defined window is saved at the end of the
frame.inc file of the current project.
